Transparency: Apple Pay/Cash Suspected Fraud Notice

Since Apple Cash does not offer purchase protection, Apple has added an extra layer of protection to make sure its users are sending money to the intended & trusted recipient for users goods.

When small businesses, or an individual that is not in your contact list requests funds from users, a simple but baffling notice will appear that looks like this:

Its a wholesome message with a lot to unpack, enough for us to add to our FAQ. We cannot control Apple’s message, but we can warn about it.

Primetime Delivers is in FULL support of Apple’s attempt to protect all of its users! 

However Apple’s notice is a bit bewildering & can leave some users thinking the purpose behind the notice is to warn against our business. Which is not the case. Nonetheless, an issue we have to deal with to offer this paymnt type.

Can I call? Absolutely, detailed text messages are preferred for accuracy, but we’d also love to hear from you!

We provide curbside delivery service. Our drivers cannot leave their vehicles.

Injured or Elderly? We will do our best to accommodate limited special requests, requested PRIOR to delivery driver arrival. Please do not provide call box information unless you are injured or elderly.

How old do I have to be to order delivery?

Adults 21 and older may purchase up to 1 ounce or 28.35 grams of marijuana, with a valid driver’s license, state or federal ID. All adult-use purchase are subject to a 15% cannabis excise tax and 8.5% San Francisco City sales tax.

To buy Medicinal Cannabis, you must be 18 or older and have either current physician’s recommendation, a valid California county-issued medical marijuana identification card. Adults 18 and older with a valid medical marijuana identification card can purchase up to 8 ounces or 226.8 grams, of dried cannabis or concentrates.

Primetime is a licensed and regulated cannabis business, so we follow these rules very strictly.

How much can I order?

What forms of ID are accepted?

Your state or country driver’s license, state or country identification card, or passport can work as a valid form of identification. Your ID must be valid and have a future expiration date in order to be accepted.

Primetime Delivers is a licensed and regulated cannabis business and we follow these rules very strictly.

What types of payment do you accept?

We currently ONLY accept Cash or ApplePay/Cash 

Please note, Primetime does not directly accept credit or debit cards. We cannot swipe any plastic, including your Apple Credit Card, however:

Due to Covid-19, although cash is still widely accepted; as a matter of public safety for our members & employees, we are taking the recommended precautions with cash by adding and encouraging users to utilize our acceptance of a few cashless options:

We currently ONLY accept Cash or ApplePay/Cash 

Most Credit & Debit cards can be used through ApplePay/Cash.

Please, make sure account is active and connected to your financial institution before drivers arrival 🙂

ALL Drivers strictly ONLY carry $40 in change, if you need to break larger bills, please inform us in order notes or by text PRIOR to driver arrival.

Split payments are accepted and can be divvied amongst the available options above.

Large Orders, $150+ are subject to pre payment AT ANY TIME. Rest assured, If you ever pre pay us, your funds are secured, and subject to refund in the event of a cancellation, customer forfeiture, or customer failure to appear for said order.

Unless specified otherwise, it is your choice to pre pay for your order, or pay upon drivers arrival.

Do I have to create an account to order delivery?

Yes, ordering with Primetime is super easy. Fill up your shopping cart with your favorite items, and you’ll be prompted to create an account during checkout. When you come back to order cannabis again, just login and all your account details will be saved on our secure SHA-256 encrypted server.

May I tip the driver?

Tips are appreciated, but never required nor expected. Our team works hard to provide you with five star service and we are grateful for any gratuity that you contribute.

What is your return policy?

Return Policy for our cannabis products:

There is no return or exchange for medical or recreational flowers, concentrates or edibles.

Exceptions to Return Policy:

We only exchange goods if they are defective or damaged. In circumstances where you consider that a product is defective, you should promptly contact us at 415.894.7046 or email orders@primetimedelivers.co with details of the product and the defect. If you are entitled to a replacement or refund, we will replace the product or refund the purchase price, using the original method of payment.

What are your delivery areas, delivery minimums and delivery fees?

Primetime operates out of Downtown San Francisco and services the entire west side of the Bay Area including but not limited to: San Francisco, Daly City, Colma, South San Francisco, San Bruno, Millbrae, San Mateo, Redwood City, Marin County, Mountain View, Palo Alto, San Jose.

To remain inclusive Primetime is here for your every day Jane or Joe, which is why we offer under minimum fees.

Orders placed on Weedmaps:
All orders on this platform require a minimum of $50 or $60 subtotal before taxes (automatic to your location). Weedmaps also charges us a ridiculous $5 per delivery, and $5 service fee. Which then flows through to you the customer, to avoid this $10 fee, please order DIRECT from our in site menu.

What's my ETA?

Orders typically take around 45-90 minutes!

Some orders are much quicker, while some may take longer depending on the time of day the order is placed.

All ETAs provided are actual estimations and not promises.

Estimations are affected by weather conditions, traffic, and road closures.

We are prepared to discount orders for unusual wait times that exceed your initially given time.

Orders placed between 5pm-CLOSE are the busiest hours due to rush hour traffic and high order call volume.

Please allow for additional time during these hours, and feel free to reach out to our team to relay any special needs!

Keep in mind, orders are delivered in the order they come in, relative to the distance the order is from our Downtown San Francisco office.

Additionally, we offer scheduled delivery if you want to plan ahead!

Can drivers give me an extra pre roll or carry products for me to buy on the spot when they arrive?

Unfortunately not. Our drivers only carry products associated with their current order route. All store products are held in, and shipped from our hub. 

Additionally, drivers ONLY carry $40 in cash, so let us know if you need to break big bills. Large bills are subject to authentication.

Our entire fleet of delivery cars are subject to live GPS, audio recording and CCTV monitoring.

Please assume these recordings are all in progress! 

Can I schedule deliveries?

Yes, we do scheduled deliveries!

You will have the option to place a scheduled delivery for the next day [or days] during checkout!

Only available here on the website, not on weedmaps or any other platform.

Is Primetime licensed by the State of California?

Proud to be! We are a fully licensed cannabis delivery service in strict compliance with the regulations set forth by the California Bureau of Cannabis Control (https://www.bcc.ca.gov). Our license number is C9-0000283-LIC.

Taxes? We finally got Uncle Sam to provided our licenses, turns out they love pot too!

As a fully licensed cannabis delivery service, we must pay local, state and excise taxes.

Tax Breakdown:
– Excise Tax is 27% (a company facing expense)
– City Tax is 10%. – (a customer facing expense)
– Sales Tax is 9.75% – (a customer facing expense)

When can I place a delivery order?

Our normal delivery hours are from 10am – 9pm HOWEVER feel free to place an order 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

If your order is placed outside our business hours, your order will be delivered the next day upon our next opening.

Are my neighbors/colleagues all going to know that I just ordered pot?

No. Our entire fleet of delivery cars are unmarked, highly discreet vehicles with no external branding or messaging.

Our drivers are also discreet, will not ring your door bell, and will await curbside for you to retrieve your goods!

Are you hiring?
